The dummy supports are frequently be used in scale systems for level control in tanks. They exchange two of the weigh modules in tanks on three or four legs and offer a very cost effective scale solution. The dummy supports type 56-01 have the same height as type 52-01-13 weigh modules version respective weigh modules 56-01-18 version and can be joined at corresponding capacities.

The dummy supports are dimensioned to take cross forces in any direction towards horizontal and also lift off forces, up to 100 percent of the maximum capacity. The weigh module can therefore be of simplest fitted with lift off protection as well as free sliding type if required. If tank feet and foundation plates are prepared also with increasing holes for the weigh module, thenlater scale can be easily upgraded to a high precisionsystem of load cell by changing the dummy supports with weigh modules. It is available in two versions zinc plated and Mild steel with capacity up to 100 kN. It has a very rugged design tolerates large angular errors for foundation plate and tank foot. It allows users thermal contraction/expansion and easy installation by bolting or welding.
